Yoga involves a series of 'poses' creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. Light hearted, friendly yoga classes suitable for all abilities as the pace of the session will be tailored to suit the class.
Classes include breathing techniques for relaxation and flowing sequences to build strength, stamina and flexibility. Every week we’ll be breaking down a selection of the poses so that each student can explore their body’s ability and improve their personal practice.
