Yoga involves a series of 'poses' creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are constant, but the approach to them vaires depending on the tradition in which the teacher has trained. Helps your flexibility, bringing greater range of motion to muscles and joints.

This course is for anyone who is interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and who would like to improve their fitness and health. Pregnant students should not attend classes until they are at least 16 weeks pregnant.
You will learn how to improve mobility, suppleness, stamina and how to tone up your body. You will develop and extend your practice of yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques. Your tutor will explain the benefits and how you can apply them to your daily life through your continued regular practice at home.
The teaching will reflect the different fitness levels of individuals.

Postntatl YogaThis postnatal yoga class aims to start strengthening your core and pelvic floor following the birth of your baby. The strain that pregnancy and a new baby can put on your body is incredible and this class will help you reenergise and relax, all whilst having your baby with you. This class is suitable for ladies following your 6 week check, or 12 weeks with a caesarean.
