Qigong
Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. The word Qigong (Chi Kung) is made up of two Chinese words. Qi is pronounced chee and is usually translated to mean the life force or vital-energy that flows through all things in the universe.

Chi gong (Qigong) Gold - The Ideal Health Exercise for the Over 50’s.Thursdays 12.30pm -1.30pm & Fridays 12 - 1pm

The optimum way to enhance and maintain physical and mental fitens, Chi Gong Gold classes are for 50+ (not that we'll ask your age!) who are looking for a welcoming, fun and friendly weekly class with a real community feel. Each class will offer easy-to-follow Chi Gong moves (seated or standing) that can help:
Make the old functionally younger
Increase co-ordination & prevent falls
Improve mobility
Enhance suppleness
Become more balanced
Exercise the mind
Classes are 1 hour long, with plenty of breaks and cost £5.
These exercises are gentle, low impact exercises that are easy on the joints and can be done by people who want a gentle exercise without the lycra, loud music and sweatiness! Whilst gentle, they are among the most efficient and powerful health maintenance exercises anyone is likely to find!
